Tea House Trek :
In these trekking regions your accommodation and food are arranged by our guides in Local hotels and guest house known as “Tea Houses”. Here they present you with traditional and delicious foods by offering variety of potato, rice and noodle dishes with soup and seasonal vegetables at day time. Variety of cereals, bread and egg dishes are generally available for breakfast. Snacks are also available such as basic biscuits, chocolate and soft drinks and in some areas you may find fresh fruits in season.
Teahouse treks are the most popular mode of trekking in Nepal due to the availability of hotel accommodation in the Everest Region, Langtang area and the entire Annapurna area. It is felt convenient because in these areas, you can travel with minimum equipments and rely on 'tea-houses' for food and accommodation. However, carrying your own sleeping bags and toilet papers in all circumstances is always a good idea and advisable to avoid smelly squat toilets (if any), and no shower facilities.
All these are readily available in Kathmandu or Pokhara at reasonable prices. As your own little contribution to prevent rapid environmental degradation of Nepal you are advised to choose teahouses for lodging as they use kerosene oil rather than smoking fire-wood for cooking etc.

Trekking Information
Trekking in Nepal can be undertaken throughout the year depending on the region. The year is divided into 4 different seasons in Nepal and each season has its distinct attraction to offer for trekking. However, the best months to trek/tour are October-November (post-monsoon) and April-May (pre-monsoon). The trekkers require walking on foot about 4 to 7 hours daily therefore, you must be physically fit enough with a regular exercise of minimum 45 days prior to the departure of your trekking adventure.
